South Atlantic SIG

The South Atlantic Special Interest Group of the International Plastic Modellers Society (UK) was set up in November 2006 to support those interested in modelling items from the 1982 Falklands War. With 2007 being the 25th anniversary of the Falklands War, there will be an increased awareness of the conflict. A number of ships and aircraft were used during the war, and many are readily available although some may need converion work.

The hope is this project will follow the work setting up the SIG and it's travels during 2007. It  will also feature models produced by the members of the SIG. The SA SIG's web site is now up and running
