Military vehicle clubs
Military Vehicle Clubs are, by definition, limited to collecting vehicles from the 20th Century. These can be broadly split into Second World War vehicles and Post War Vehicles because few military vehicles from before 1939 exist out side Museums and other collections.
We have defined Military Vehicle Clubs as those who's members are primarily private individuals who own and maintain their vehicles in working condition, or are restoring vehicles with an aim to getting them in to running order. Museums and Collections, whether private or public, are for static displays.
Collectors of Second World War vehicles should have a great variety of vehicles to choose from, but as time goes by, obtaining and maintaining them becomes more difficult which pushes the price up.
Post war collectors have more choice as many vehicles have been sold as surplus rather than destroyed on the battlefield. Obtaining vehicles from other countries has also been made easier with the end of the Cold War.
We have grouped the Clubs by geographical area to make them easier to locate.
