Re-enactment
Re-enactment groups exist in many countries, dedicated to recreating the living and fighting conditions of the historical period of their choice.
Many groups represent the major wars that their own countries have been involved in. In the UK groups exist that re-enact the English Civil War, the Napoleonic Wars and the Second World War and in the USA, the Civil War and the War of Independence are well represented.
However, other groups exist to re-enact armies from different nations, so in the UK you can find groups dedicated to the Roman army, the American Civil War and allied and enemy nations of World War 2.

We have divided the groups into historical periods for ease of reference. 20th Century re-enactment groups usually come with appropriate vehicles so they have been listed under Military Vehicle Groups
